The Ohio Dental Laboratory Association has served the interests and needs of the dental laboratory community of Ohio for more than 50 years. Members of the ODLA include laboratory owners, managers and technicians in Ohio as well as suppliers, manufactures and service providers in the state and throughout the nation.
A nonprofit organization, the ODLA is dedicated to upholding the integrity of the dental technology industry by promoting certification and professional excellence... The ODLA is proud of the fact it provides continuing education opportunities, offers chances to exchange information about techniques with other professionals in the field, and affords networking opportunities to members. The ability to share knowledge about business-related problems and stay current on issues affecting the dental technology industry are other ways the ODLA serves you. With today's fast-changing technology, professional organizations must help members stay up-to-date with the methods needed in their own fields. That is why the ODLA advocates continuing education for its members and strongly recommends certification for dental laboratory technicians and for dental laboratories.
Many of the required continuing education credits needed to obtain and maintain your certification can be earned at the annual Mid-West Spring Technical Meeting. Ohio, along with Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky, sponsor this yearly event each April to provide expert training and education for dental laboratory technicians.
